Vera Moss

Vera Moss, 88, of Saginaw, Texas passed away on September 26, 2020, in Fort Worth, Texas, from heart failure. She was born on April 30, 1932, in Vowells Mill, Lousiana to Rena and John Montgomery. Siblings include Verna Lea Nash, Vivian Kile, and VG Montgomery. Vera was married to Dewey W. Moss, Sr for 51 years and their primary residence was Saginaw, Texas. She loved reading, bowling, sewing, quilting, and a good trip to the casino. Vera is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey W. Moss, Sr.; daughter, Glenda Delores Hale; grandson, Douglas Hale; brother, VG Montgomery; and sister, Vivian Kile. She is survived by children Janet Moss of Saginaw, Texas, and Dewey Moss, Jr. of New York, New York; grandchildren Stephanie Cole of Alvarado, Texas, and Stacie Hale of Fort Worth, Texas; great-grandchildren Michaela Cole, Megan Cole, Morgan Cole, Faith Woods, Nichalos Woods, and Hope Woods; sister Verna Lea Nash of Keithsville, Louisiana; a dear family friend, Gary Morgan.
