Deborah Elizabeth Tovar, went home to heaven at the age of 44 in the city of Haltom on July 12, 2021. She was born on October 29th, 1976 in Fort Worth to loving parents Violeta and Jaime Medrano. She grew up with her sisters Violet Winslow Amanda Ponce and brothers Jimmy and Brian Medrano. Deborah married at the age 19 to Eduardo Tovar on July 25, 1996. One day Deborah called into a radio station and sang over the radio. Eduardo heard her beautiful voice and called in to get her number. By fate, they gave it to him. Shortly there after they went on the first date and the rest was pure love. They went on to be married 25 years. Deborah always mentioned how her husband treated her as if she was a queen. They also went of to have 5 loving children, Nicole Medrano, Jamie Tovar, Edward Tovar, Debbie Tovar, and Salvador Tovar. She was a woman of many talents, from crafts to ghost hunting she dabbled in many activities. One of her favorite things to do was gardening. In the last couple months of her life she got into photography. The thing that was at the top of list of fun things to do was be around her kids and grandkids, that is the thing that brought her the most joy. She kept a very spiritual Catholic life, by praying the rosary and keeping god close. She always found humor in scaring people and making people smile. Deborah is survived by children Nicole (26) & Kelsey Medrano (25), Jamie Tovar (24) & Carson Krupinski (25), Edward Tovar (19), Debbie Tovar (18). Grandchildren Carson (4) & Harrison Krupinski (11 months). 2 sisters and 1 brother, Violet Winslow (43) , Jimmy Medrano (41) , & Amanda Ponce (38) . and many other nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her Brother Brian Medrano (32) and son Salvador Tovar at birth. When Jamie and Nicole were younger hanging outside with their mom, she pretended to hear a scary noise. She proceeded to push Nicole on to the ground, run inside and lock them outside. That is one of their most fond memories. Nicole's favorite memory of her mom is when she was having a panic attack in the shower and her mom came in, fully clothed, and hugged her soaking wet until she was better. Her viewing will be on Friday July 16th 2021, 2:00pm-6:00pm at Calvario Funeral Chapel (111 W Northside Dr. Forth Worth, tx 76164), with a bilingual service to follow at 6:00pm.
