Mrs. Dorothy Hollis Meyer

Dorothy Hollis Meyer, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, in Dallas. Service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Calvario Funeral Chapel in Fort Worth. Interment to follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Dorothy was born July 11, 1925, in Fort Worth. She worked as a bookkeeper for Montgomery Ward and for the Azle State Bank. She was preceded in passing by her husband of 53 years, Walter Meyer; and her son, Walter Meyer Jr. Survivors: Son, Richard Meyer and wife, Gloria; grandchildren, Wendy Granberry and husband, Stephan, Timothy Meyer and wife, Laura, Jason Meyer and wife, Angela, Natalie and Jeremy, Richard Meyer and wife, Stacy, Michael Meyer and wife, Sara, and Jill Davis and husband, Chris; eight great-grandchildren, Lane and Evan Granberry, Dylan and Jack Meyer, Noah Meyer, Alison Meyer, Finley Aune and Ella Davis; daughter-in-law, Margarita Meyer; and sister-in-law, Beth Hollis.
