Mary Pennington Aaron, 68, passed away at her home in Fort Worth, Texas, on July 18, 2025, after a long illness. Mary was born on April 9, 1957, in Fort Worth to Ruby Jean (Gordon) Zink and Charles P. Zink Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Carolyn Zink; her brother, Larry Zink and his wife Shirley; her husbands, Robert Ray Pennington and Danny Dewayne Aaron. Mary is survived by her three children: her son, Matthew Aaron, her daughters, Jennifer Pennington (and her husband Jake Spharler), and Amanda Pennington. She is also survived by her brothers Eric Zink and his wife Debbie, Charles Zink and his wife Janellen; her sister, Cheryl Carter and her husband Johnny; her sister in law Betty Carol Zatarain, her sister in law Mary Ruth Pennington, her fur babies Ruby Soho and Rowdy, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family who will remember her with love.Known for her stubborn spirit and fierce loyalty, Mary worked as a licensed vocational nurse early in life before choosing to stay home and raise her family. She dedicated herself to being a full-time mother and especially poured her heart into caring for her son, Matthew. She became a passionate advocate and friend to the autism community. Her strength, humor, and devotion to her children were the foundation of her life. Visitation will be Friday, July 25, 2025 from 1:00PM - 5:00PM at Calvario Funeral Chapel, 111 W. Northside Drive, Fort Worth, TX, 76106. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 25, 2025 at 10:00AM at Calvario Funeral Chapel with a graveside service to follow at 11:30AM at Oakwood Cemetery, 701 Grand Ave, Fort Worth, TX, 76164.
