Opal Clark Eddy, 95, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born April 8, 1930, in East St. Louis, Illinois. She spent many summers on the family farm in Missouri. Opal lived a long, full life marked by devotion to family, friendship, and faith. Opal was the beloved mother of Albert Clark and his wife Diane, Mary Taylor and her husband Donald, and Liz Clark and her wife Kathy Black. She was the proud grandmother of three grandchildren and the cherished great-grandmother of six. She was preceded in death by her husbands Charles Clark and Ross Eddy, as well as her sons James Clark and Hubert Martin (Marty) Clark. A woman of many interests, Opal was a longtime member of the Southside Garden Club in Fort Worth and a faithful member of College Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. She found joy in tending her garden, fellowshipping with friends, and traveling to new places—always eager for the next adventure. Opal will be remembered for her warm heart, ready smile, and steadfast friendship to many. Her legacy of love, kindness, and curiosity will live on through the family and friends who were blessed to know her. A private graveside service with be held Friday the 19th. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the charity of your choice.
