With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Pedro Castillo, who left us too soon on April 23, 2025, at the age of 40. Born on March 18, 1985, Pedro was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend whose presence touched many lives .Pedro dedicated most of his life to working at Kroger, starting at just 14 years old. Over the years, he became a familiar and cherished face to countless customers. Known for his kindness and infectious positivity, Pedro always went out of his way to brighten someone’s day, whether through a small act of service or a warm smile. A passionate sports enthusiast, Pedro found joy in every game, match, and moment of competition. His enthusiasm was contagious, and his love for sports was often a bridge connecting him to others. Pedro was preceded in death by his loving mother, Yolanda Castillo. He is survived by his cherished son, Pedro Castillo Jr.; his father, Jose M. Castillo; his brothers, Jose (Luz), Jaime (Carmen), Saul (Roxy), and Jesus (Cristen); his sister, Lizette (George); and 19 nieces and nephews who adored their uncle. Pedro’s legacy of generosity, hard work, and deep family love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 3:00PM - 7:00PM at Calvario Funeral Chapel, 111 W. Northside Dr., Fort Worth TX, 76104. Graveside service will be at 11:30AM,  Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 2301 N. Sylvania Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76111.
