Peggy Ruth Simpson passed away on January 26, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 67. Services will be officiated by Sam Sung Park of Dallas Korean Central United Methodist Church. Peggy was born on September 3, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas to Evelyn and John Hearne. The family was raised in Fort Worth and growing up Peggy had four siblings; Johnny, Larry, Barbara and Brenda. She graduated from Trimble Tech High School and worked in the service industry for many years and was a beloved employee and coworker. Peggy married Richard David Simpson and spent 44 wonderful years together. The couple welcomed one son, Ricky James Simpson. Peggy loved spending time in the outdoors and camping with her family. She was very creative and loved writing in her journal. She had dreams of being a journalist. Peggy enjoyed baking cakes for every occasion and entertaining for family and friends. She is predeceased by her mother, Evelyn Hearne, father, John W Hearne, brothers Johnny and Larry Hearne, and her husband Richard D Simpson. She is survived by her son Ricky James Simpson of Dallas, Texas and her sisters Barbara Mahmoud, Brenda Busoul of Fort Worth, Texas, nieces and nephews, Nabella and Sam Sababha, James Busoul, Anas Mahmoud, AJ and Russia Mahmoud, and great nieces and nephews, Zannah, Miriam, Summer, Noah, Adam, and Iya. Special thanks to Peggy’s brother-in-law, Edward James Simpson, for his generosity and support throughout the years. Thank you to Uchin Chung for graciously assisting with the service arrangements.
