Rolando Espino, 33, of Haltom City, Texas, passed away Thursday December 28th, 2023 peacefully at home surrounded by family.

He was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on July 2nd, 1990 and is the son of Rosendo Espino and Cindy Avilez.

Rolando was a fighter and a warrior. Throughout his life he was faced with multiple challenges and overcame them. He had multiple nicknames; his friends and coworkers knew him as Ro. While his family and loved ones knew him as Roli. His signature name was Rillo E for the music he composed and sung. He always had a passion for music and wanted to build his own record label. His favorite instrument was the guitar, Rolando self-taught himself to play the guitar. As he was self-teaching himself to play the piano. He would play by sound instead of the notes. During his off time, he would write his own songs. Throughout the years he was able to create a few songs on his YouTube channel. Rolando was always smiling and you could see the depth of his dimples. Everywhere he went, he either made someone smile or laugh. That is when he knew he had achieved his goal. He loved meeting new people and talking to them. He worked as a pawn broker and loved the diversity of the company. His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys. He loved to watch amine, one of his favorite anime shows was Naruto.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Roy Esquivel Davila and Maria Trejo Davila, maternal grandfather Ramon Granados; paternal grandparents, Francisco Espino Ontiveros and Francisca Zapata Gonzalez; and mom, Connie Reyes Davila.

He is survived by his father, Rosendo Espino Zapata and wife, Maria de Lourdes Acosta of Wichita Falls; mother, Cindy Avilez Davila of Haltom City; Siblings, Rosendo Espino, Jr.; Monica Espino, Eric Espino, Veronica Espino, Teresa Espino, LeeRoy Espino, Ricky Davila and wife, Marisa Davila, Latecia Rangel and Beatrice Rangel; his special nieces and nephews, Ashley Davila, the twins Ricky Jr. & Rolando Davila,  Mark Anthony Davila, Jeremiah, Elijah, Elexa, Annaleah, Ezmi, MariPaz, Anahi; special cousins, Maribel, Saul Resendiz, Zy, Mia, Jazzmin Davila; and many other extended family members and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Calvario Funeral Chapel located at 111 W. Northside Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76106. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 12, 2023 also at Calvario Funeral Chapel followed by interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth.
