FORT WORTH -- Von Parker Hanners, 68, passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Monday at Calvario Funeral Chapel (formerly Shannon North). Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans. Von was born March 10, 1944, in Cardwell, Mo., to Von Harold and Florence Ruffin Hanners. Survivors: Daughter, Julia Hanners of Fort Worth; brothers, Barry of Natchitoches, La., Flynn of Sherman, Ill., Bart of Arlington, Tenn., and Brad of Fort Worth; numerous other family members.
